Old man winter has arrived in Central Alberta.
Meteorologists with Environment Canada say snow continues to develop through parts of central Alberta today.
A band of freezing rain is expected to develop late this afternoon from near Drayton Valley eastwards to the Saskatchewan border and slowly move northeastwards through the evening.
On Tuesday, strong northwesterly winds will increase, reducing visibility in blowing snow.

- Clearwater Co. near Caroline and James River Bridge
- Clearwater Co. near Rocky Mtn House and Crimson Lake
- O’Chiese 203 Res. and Clearwater Co. near Sunchild Cree Res.
- Yellowhead Co. near Minnow and Wolf Lakes and Elk River
