The Rocky Mountain House RCMP are currently on scene at a rural location on the O’Chiese First Nation attempting to search for and arrest an armed suspect. A Police Initiated Public Alert has been issued.

Mounties say, there is an armed suspect in the area who has fired shots on police. The suspect is believed to be Shaeden Muskeg, age 24.

Shaeden Muskeg is described as:

• Medium Complexion
• 5’9” tall
• 200 lbs
• Black hair
• Brown eye

RCMP are asking area residents to shelter in place, do not pick up people on the roadway and secure doors and windows. RCMP add, do not post police operations on social media and call 911 if you see anyone suspicious.
