The provincial government has released draft flood maps for the Rocky Mountain House area.
Government officials say this is meant to improve public safety, support emergency management and help build safer and more resilient communities over the long term.

Officials say engagement opportunities are open for Albertans to provide feedback on new draft flood maps. The feedback is expected to help ensure this work is technically sound.
Residents have until Feb. 12, 2024, to provide feedback. To provide feedback, click here.
The provincial government says it will carefully consider all feedback received and revise the draft flood maps to address any technical errors.
