Local business owners have organized a fundraiser to benefit the owners of Paradise Day Spa, whose building burned in an early morning fire on April 18, 2024.
Among the organizers is Cynthia Guenette who says a full day of events has been planned.
“We’re having a silent auction, barbeque and bake sale outside of Rockies,” says Guenette. “We’re raising funds for the girls who lost everything in the fire on April 18.
Guenette adds, the staff at Paradise Day Spa were just about to celebrate it’s 20th anniversary on May 4.
Organizers say there will be plenty of food at the event. Along with the barbeque, there will be a bake sale table with donated items from local businesses such as George’s Kitchen.
Guenette adds, donations to the silent auction can be dropped off at the Burly Beard Tattoo Studio at 5028 50 Street or can be arranged for pickup by calling 403-845-7354.
The fundraiser will take place May 3, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m at Rockie’s Lounge located at Main and 48 Ave.
