A new playground structure is set to be built in the heart of Leslieville as part of a fledgling ‘community feature’ green space project.
Matt Martinson, director of agricultural services for Clearwater County says residents may notice some site prep work in the area, but says the install date for contractor Blue Imp is expected to go forward as planned.
“They’ll be installing some fairly traditional components of playgrounds, and so I don’t think there’ll be anything too shocking or new,” says Martinson. “But it was designed in a way to be complementary to the community and the values that we share.”
Martinson adds, the County received feedback from residents on what they’d like to see at the green space at the recent Leslieville Block Party.
The playground is expected to be assembled on Sept. 16.
