Alberta Mounties say the second and final suspect wanted in connection with a homicide on the Sunchild First Nation last year has now been apprehended.
Police advise that 33-year-old Bradley Jerome Jerry, of Edmonton, was located Sept. 18, 2024, and safely arrested by the Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Unit on O’Chiese First Nation for the Dec. 3, 2023, homicide of Sheridan Goodrunning on Sunchild First Nation.
Mounties say he will be taken before a Justice of the Peace to determine his release status and a future court date.
Co-accused Kyle Whitehorse, 26, of the O’Chiese First Nation, was charged with second-degree murder on Sept. 13, 2024.
Whitehorse was taken before a Justice of the Peace and remanded into custody.
