Trial dates have been set for two Sundre, AB, residents facing drug and weapons charges.
Bradley William Pearce, 39, and Cassandra Kopp, 22, are scheduled for trial in Calgary Court of Justice from Sept. 8-11, 2025.
It was in April of 2023, when Sundre RCMP say they entered into a drug trafficking investigation after receiving information that illegal drugs were being sold at a residence on 10 Ave., in Sundre.
On July 21, 2023, Sundre RCMP, with assistance from Olds and Didsbury RCMP, conducted a search warrant at the residence. Mounties say the Southern Alberta Emergency Response Team assisted with entry into the residence.
As a result of the search warrant, police say the following was seized:
- Quantities of suspected cocaine, methamphetamine, fentanyl and gamma-hydroxybutric acid (GHB)
- Canadian currency
- assorted ammunition
- several firearms and tasers (CEW)
- soft body armour
- an assortment of edged weapons & other prohibited weapons
- drug paraphernalia and drug producing equipment
Bradley Pearce and Cassandra Kopp were both charged with 22 offences, some of which include:
- Trafficking in cocaine, methamphetamine, fentanyl and GHB
- Possession of a prohibited weapon
- Unsafe storage of a firearm
RCMP say Pearce was also charged with several failure to comply with probation orders.
