Clearwater County officials say more work will be completed at the Leslieville Recreation Area in 2025.
At the Nov. 26 council meeting, Erik Hansen, director of public works for Clearwater County, said the project came in under budget this year.
Pending budget approval, he says extra funds will be carried forward into next year to finish work at the site. Budget deliberations are scheduled for Dec. 11-12.
Proposed projects includes new signage and a community information kiosk to be built at the site.
In 2024, several new benches, a picnic table, and fresh pavement were installed at the site near David Thompson High School.
The 2024 budget for the project is $701,000.
