The number of houses sold in 2024 in Rocky Mountain House was nearly identical to the total from 2023.
That’s according to the latest Market Update from Central Alberta Realtors Association, which shows shows a total of 140 units sold in Rocky Mountain House in 2024, tracking very close to the 141 units sold during 2023.
A total of eight units were sold in December 2024, the same as November, and up from five in December 2023.
The average sale price in Rocky Mountain House last month was $268,088, up from $226,737 in November, and $248,700 in December 2023.
Meantime, the average number of days to sell a home in Rocky Mountain House in December was 55, similar to the 56 day average in November, and down from 91 days in December of last year.
In Clearwater County, meantime, numbers show 254 units sold in 2024, up from the 239 units sold in 2023.
There were 16 units sold last month, on par with the 15 units sold in November, and up from 11 units sold during the same month in 2023.
The average sale price in Clearwater County in December was $487,419, up from $352,693 in November, and from $361,227 in December 2023.
The average number of days to sell a home in Clearwater County last month was 68 days, up from 56 days in November, and down from 91 days during the same month last year.
