The Rocky Kinsman Club and the West County Kinettes are set to present some free activities in Rocky Mountain House on Feb. 21 and 22.
Doug Laut, vice president of the Kinsmen Club of Rocky Mountain House says ‘Kin Kindness Day’ will start on Friday with club members dropping off donuts at community organizations as a thank you to sponsors who’ve partnered with the clubs over the last year.
The event will continue Saturday with a free movie for seniors at Rocky Cinemas. It’ll be showing the 2006 Johnny Cash biopic Walk The Line starring Joaquin Phoenix and Reese Witherspoon.
The day continues with free bowling at Krazy Lanes in Rocky Mountain House from 1 to 4 p.m. Shoe rental included. Residents can register by calling 403-845-3566.
Laut says all events are sponsored by Rocky Kinsman Club and the West County Kinettes as another way to thank and give back to the community.
The Rocky Kinsman Club and the West County Kinettes are busy planning events for 2025, says Laut, including getting a jump start on Christmas With Kin for 2025.
