The Rocky Chamber Trade Show is back this spring with a packed lineup of entertainment, local businesses, and returning community favourites.
Running May 2-3, organizers say this year’s event is nearly sold out for vendors and will feature a wide variety of booths ranging from food trucks and family activities to information displays and local services.
“The big, exciting news that we have this year is the Leo Martinez Project which is going to be doing entertainment in the beer gardens,” said Michelle Meatheringham, executive director of the Rocky Chamber of Commerce. “The man is a musical magician… he’s got beautiful music that we think a diverse group will enjoy.”
Meatheringham says the beer gardens, first introduced last year, were a huge hit and now include live music programming.
A new addition this year is a Jail and Bail fundraiser organized by West Country Family Services Association (WCFSA), set to take place on Friday.
“Jail birds” such as Rocky Mountain House Acting Mayor Len Phillips, Clearwater County Reeve Michelle Swanson and Moe from 94.5 Rewind Radio will be helping WCFSA reach its goal of raising $8000 to provide services to local seniors.

Vendor interest has remained strong, with most booth spaces already spoken for.
“We’re almost full at the moment,” said Meatheringham. “We’ve got food trucks, information, activities — it’s going to be a very diverse trade show this year and we are very excited.”
The Rocky Chamber Trade Show serves as one of the region’s largest annual showcases of local businesses, community groups, and interactive attractions.
“Last year, we had around 2,000 people come through in two days,” says Meatheringham. “It’s a great spot for vendors to be.”
Those interested can call the Rocky Chamber at 403-845-5450, or e-mail admin@rockychamber.org.
The event is set for Friday May 2 from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday May 3 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
