The West Country saw the highest accumulation of rainfall in Alberta on May 12.
According to Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC), the Nordegg area saw far and away the most significant rainfall in the province with 45.3 mm.
Rocky Mountain House took the runner-up spot with 30.1 mm.
Other central Alberta communities saw significant rainfall including Red Deer (27.1 mm), Lacombe (20.9 mm), and Sundre (17.2 mm).

Thanks to the rainfall, fire bans in parts of the West Country have been lifted.
