Plenty of fun Canada Day activities are once again planned for the Rocky Mountain House National Historic Site on July 1.
The celebrations will feature many family-oriented events throughout the day including:
- face painting
- tipi teaching
- wagon rides
- car show
- rafting demo
- crib tournament
- 4H canine showcase
- ag olympics
- artisan market
Entertainment for the day features performances from singer Amber Williams, historian Christian Cooper, as well as the Rocky Filipino Association and Indigenous entertainers.
The celebrations will happen from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Visitors and are also invited to return to North Saskatchewan River Park in the evening for a Canada Day Fireworks display at dusk.
