Rocky Mountain House will be holding its second annual Christmas Light Up celebration on Sunday Nov. 23 at Helen Hunley Memorial Park.
Along with a tree lighting to kick off the season, the event will include pictures with Santa, candy canes, hot chocolate, and cookies.
The event will also feature plenty of Christmas music for singalongs around a wood bonfire.
Community Events Committee Chair Tina Hutchinson says the event serves as a “wake up” to Santa, as he’ll be busy in the weeks leading up to Christmas with many events around town.

Hutchinson says the inaugural celebration in 2024 was a success, and hopes it can be an annual favorite.
If anyone would like to volunteer, they can get in contact with the town by e-mailing events@trmh.ca.
The free event goes from 5:00-7:00 p.m.
Other 2025 events from the Community Events Committee included Family Day, Canada Day, as well as Alberta Day Celebrations.
