An annual Rocky Mountain House tradition — The Parade Of Lights — returns again in 2025.
This year’s parade goes from 7-9 p.m.
The parade will begin at the staging area north of Poplar Blvd. near the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
It will work its way down 60 St. before heading east on Hwy 11A and finish on Main St.

Organizer Cory Leonhardt says folks should show up early to not only get a good seat, but also because streets near the parade route will be closed off to traffic.
Additionally, the West Country Kinettes will be hosting a ‘Stuff-A-Truck’ event during the parade, says organizer Jana Thompson.
Food and toiletry donations for the Lord’s Food Bank and Mountain Rose Women’s Shelter will be accepted. Toy donations for Santa’s Anonymous will also be accepted.
