Local Mounties are asking for assistance in finding a missing man.
RCMP continue their investigation into the disappearance of 20-year-old Carter Rodgers. Police say they are very concerned for Carter’s wellbeing, and the Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Unit has been deployed and has taken over the investigation.
RCMP know that Carter travelled from Devon to the Rocky Mountain House area on Feb. 14, 2026. Mounties say he reported to family that his vehicle became stuck in the ditch. On Feb 15, 2026, police say Carter’s vehicle was located burnt on an oil lease road on O’Chiese First Nation.
RCMP are asking to speak to anyone who saw or interacted with Carter Rodgers on Feb. 14 and 15, 2026.
Carter Rodgers is described as;
- Medium complexion;
- Black hair;
- Brown eyes;
- 5 feet 2 inches tall;
- 160 pounds;
- Last seen wearing a black Metal Militia toque, white tank top, black and white dress shirt.
- Carter’s vehicle is described as a 2025 blue Honda Civic bearing Alberta license plate CWJ5343.
