The Rocky Mountain House Visitor Information Centre will temporarily reduce its hours as the Rocky Chamber adjusts operations.
The Rocky Mountain House and District Chamber of Commerce says the visitor centre will be closed on Mondays until May 4 as part of efforts to maintain fiscal responsibility while continuing to provide service to visitors.
The chamber operates the visitor information centre under a contract for service with the Town of Rocky Mountain House and Clearwater County.
Regular hours will resume May through September, when the centre is open seven days a week during the peak tourism season.
The chamber says the visitor centre will again be closed on Mondays from October through December.
While the building will be closed to the public on those days, chamber staff will remain available by phone and email.
The chamber says it apologizes for any inconvenience the schedule change may cause members.
