Home sales in Rocky Mountain House and Clearwater County were strong in April, seeing the highest monthly sales numbers so far in 2025.
That’s according to the latest Market Update from Central Alberta Realtors Association, which shows a total of 14 units sold in April in Rocky Mountain House, up from nine sold in March, and 11 sold in April of 2024.
There have been 35 units sold so far this year, up from 28 in the same time frame last year.
The average sale price in Rocky Mountain House last month was $357,182, up from $328,322 in March, and $328,182 in April 2024.
Meantime, the average number of days to sell a home in Rocky Mountain House in April was 51, up from a 24 day average in March, and down from 64 days in April of last year.
In Clearwater County, meantime, 26 units sold in April, up from 19 sold in March, and 22 sold in April 2024.
Year-to-date numbers shows 72 units sold so far this year, up from 56 units sold during the first four months of 2024.
The average sale price in Clearwater County in April was $484,171, up from $446,100 in March, and $423,450 in April 2024.
The average number of days to sell a home in Clearwater County last month was 45 days, down from 59 days in March and 59 days during April last year.
In the entire central Alberta region, there were 500 units sold in April, up from 427 units in March, but down from 556 units sold in April last year.
Year-to-date numbers show 1,526 units sold in central Alberta during the first four months of this year, down from 1,666 units sold to this point last year.
The average sale price throughout the central Alberta region last month was $432,446, down slightly from $433,553 in March.
