The Compassionate Care Hospice Society (CCHS) is teaming up with the Rocky Rams Junior Hockey organization for their annual Walk for Hospice.

The event is a 5k and 10k walk as well as a butterfly walk if you feel like you want to walk a shorter distance.

The Rocky Rams are allowing the use of the curling lounge and will be serving up cheeseburger meals for all participants, or a small price for the meal if you’re a non-participant.
Registration for the walk is open. Registration for the 5K and 10K is $30 while the butterfly walk is by donation. The Walk for Hospice is May 14, at the Rocky Regional Recreation Centre. Sign in opens at 9:30 a.m., with the walk starting at 10:00 a.m.

There are also prizes for best dressed and most money raised.
