Crimson Lake will be hosting its annual Parks Day on Saturday July 19
Events include:
- Art in the Park from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Join the campground volunteer hosts in front of the registration booth to make a nature based craft.
- 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. in the day use area
- Show & Shine and workshop – Join Crimson Lake’s maintenance team in the day use area to learn about some of their equipment.
- Bug Hunt – Get a closer look at some of the insects in the park.
- Bear Smart – Visit the table to learn tips for coexisting with wildlife.
- Parks Day Cake – Join the Alberta Parks staff and volunteers in celebrating Parks Day with a piece of cake.
- 310-FIRE – Discover how to prevent devastating blazes, camp responsibly, and protect Alberta’s beautiful natural spaces for everyone to enjoy.
- 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.: arts & crafts. Paint, glue, and create with Parks Staff—arts and crafts fun for all ages. Meet at the registration booth.
- 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.: bird is the word. Are you stork raven mad about birds? Are your trivia skills im-peck-able, or do you have a bird brain? Come test your bird knowledge in our Jeopardy style game “Bird Is The Word”.
