This is a candidate profile for candidate Bryan Cermak, who’s running for reelection in Clearwater County’s Ward 6.
Tell us a little about yourself, including how long you’ve lived in the area.
I was born in Rocky Mountain House and raised on a farm in the Horseguard/Alhambra district. My wife and I lived in the Caroline area on our farm for the last 25 plus years, this allows us to stay close to our family
Why do you want to run for council?
I was propelled to get involved with municipal politics because I want to see Clearwater County thrive and prosper and I have 3 generations ahead of me living and farming in the County at the present time.
What personal or professional experience would make you a good councillor?
My experience as project manager on construction sites, equipment operating, and as business owner have taught me many life lessons that I can bring to the table.
If elected, what would be your top priorities?
My top priorities for this term are waste water lagoon system, road repair and senior housing in Caroline. Other priorities for me are heated storage for snow removal equipment and central solid waste collection site within Clearwater County.
Where can people learn more about you and your priorities?
I will be hosting Meet and Greets at the James River Hall on September 19 and the Evergreen Hall on the 25th of September. I will also be at the meet the candidates at the Caroline Hub on October 1, and also on October 2 at the Rocky Legion.
Is there anything else you’d like to add?
