Those interested in running for office in Rocky Mountain House or Clearwater County have until Monday Sept. 22 to file their paperwork.

In Clearwater County, nomination papers may be submitted in person at the Clearwater County office (4340 – 47 Ave Rocky Mountain House.)  Candidate packages are available here, and hard copies are available at the office.

In Rocky Mountain House, information for prospective candidates can be found here. The last day to file nomination papers (with signatures) is Sept. 22 at 12 p.m.

Ahead of the Oct. 20 municipal election, the Rocky Chamber has organized a pair of candidate forums — one for town candidates on Sept. 25, and another for county candidates Oct. 2.
