BANTAMS
~ By Dallas Stradecki, trainer for Bantam Jr Rebels
The Bantam Jr. Rebels, still looking for win 1, hosted the Lacombe Raiders on September 20th for the opening game of Rocky Football Day!
The Jr Rebels came out strong and with confidence, even with 3 players out due to injury from last week’s game, and took the first half with a 28-20 lead. This was including 2 touchdowns from Charlie Molnar and 1 touchdown from Gabe Rogers.
The second half showed the Jr Rebels playing with heart, but with a few more lingering injuries and simply running out of steam, it proved to be a hurdle not able to be overcome.
The Bantam Jr Rebels lost to the Lacombe Raiders with a score of 63-28.
The Bantams hit the road for their next game, taking them to Stettler, September 27th with a 4pm kickoff!

PEEWEES
~ By Coach Mike Cochran & Serina Taylor
The Peewee Rebels delivered another outstanding performance in a critical must-win matchup this week. From start to finish, the team excelled in every phase of the game, earning praise from the entire coaching staff for their collective effort.
Quarterback Rowan Fraser, protected exceptionally well by the offensive line, proved difficult for Lacombe to contain. Defensively, the Rebels were equally impressive, holding their ground and keeping penalties to just three—a testament to the team’s growing discipline.
The coaching staff is thrilled with the steady progress this group is making each week and proud of the hard work each player is putting in. With a bye next weekend, the team will stay focused and continue to build momentum as they push for a strong finish to the regular season and secure a solid playoff berth in the final two must-win games.

ATOMS
~ By Coach Murray Buysen & Serina Taylor
In the opener against the Lacombe Chargers, the defense held strong and kept them off the scoreboard. A big highlight was Maverick Nixon powering in a touchdown to seal a successful game.
The second game versus the Innisfail Cougars was another battle. Their offense slipped through for a single touchdown, and despite our best efforts we couldn’t answer back.
“I’m incredibly proud of every player,” noted Coach Murray Buysen. “This week we completely flipped the lineup—offense played defense and vice versa—so everyone could experience both sides of the game. With only a practice and a half to prepare, they rose to the challenge.”
Thank you to all the fans and supporters who cheered us on. Next weekend we head to Red Deer to face both Red Deer and Sylvan Lake.
