Rocky Search and Rescue (SAR) is among the organizations combing a southern Alberta region for five-year-old Darius Macdougall.
Rocky SAR members have been tasked to the Crowsnest Pass area to join other SAR teams and agencies who continue working extremely diligently towards finding the missing child.
Darius Macdougall was reported missing Sept. 21 after he didn’t return from a walk with his siblings to their campsite near Island Lake Campground, south of Crowsnest Pass.
According to a Sept. 23 RCMP statement, the search continues:
Crowsnest Pass RCMP is advising that the search continues for 5-year-old Darius. The search continued overnight and, unfortunately, Darius was not located.
Numerous resources are actively searching today.
An update will be sent when there is further information available.
Macdougall is described as four feet tall, with short brown hair, and was last seen wearing a blue/grey hoodie and sweats.
Anyone who has seen Macdougall or has information on his whereabouts is asked to call Crowsnest Pass RCMP at 403-562-2866.
