Leslieville is set to host the third and final planned candidates forum for Clearwater County candidates on Wednesday Oct. 8.

Organized by the Clearwater County Taxpayers Association (CCTA), the forum follows an Oct. 1 event in Caroline, and an Oct. 2 event at the Lou Soppit Community Centre in Rocky Mountain House.

As of Oct. 2, Marianne Cole, president of CCTA says nearly every candidate has confirmed their plan to attend.

The forum begins at 7 p.m.

In Clearwater County, 21 candidates will be looking to fill seven council spots.

Advance voting day for all wards is set to take place Oct. 6 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Rocky Regional Recreation Centre and at the Caroline Community Hub.

General election day is Oct. 20.
