Leslieville’s annual Christmas Craft Market is set to return Nov. 15.
Around 40 vendors are set to take over both the Leslieville Community Centre and the Leslieville Elks Hall.
Each of the 40 vendors features hand-made goods, says organizer Melissa Wright, with this year’s event featuring a good mix of new faces and returning favourite vendors.
Wright adds, a group of local ladies have created a beautiful hand-made Christmas quilt which will be raffled off in support of ongoing fundraising efforts for critical renovations at the community hall.
An onsite concession will be available for lunch, with taco in a bag, sandwiches, hot dogs and more.
Admission is free, and the event run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The next event will be the Leslieville Community Centre’s Kids Christmas Party on Sunday Dec. 7.
As part of the fun event, Mad Science from Edmonton will be at the hall to do a show for the community. Wright says more details will be announced soon.
