Once again this year, West Country families are invited to the free Leslieville Kids Christmas Party at the Leslieville Community Center on Dec. 7.
The event, which has ran for years, will feature Christmas music, crafts, glitter tattoos and cookie decorating with volunteers from the local 4H club.
Back by popular demand, organizer Melissa Wright says Edmonton-based Mad ScienceĀ will be offering up entertainment.
The group uses STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) principles to create a fun and educational show for all ages.
Wright adds, there will also be refreshments like popcorn, water, juice and tea.
The event runs Sunday Dec. 7 from from 1-4 p.m.
