Eckville will host a free Christmas dinner for the community on Monday, Dec. 22.
Organizers are encouraging residents to attend and enjoy a homemade meal at no cost.
It won’t be a potluck, said organizer Colin Pacholek. All food will be provided through the generosity of sponsors and the work of volunteers.
Pacholek said last year’s event was well received, with nearly all of the food gone by the end of the night.
With that in mind, he said organizers are preparing more this year so everyone can enjoy a festive meal with friends and neighbours.
The dinner will be held at the Eckville Friendship Centre from 4 to 7 p.m.
Attendees are welcome to come and go as they please.
