The Asokewin Friendship Centre is inviting the public to join them in celebrating National Indigenous Peoples day.
Activities begin June 21 at 11 a.m. and run until 11 p.m. at Curtis Field.
There are activities for children from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Other activities include axe throwing, face painting and a barbeque at 4:00 p.m. as well as drummers and dancing.
Later in the evening the Head Start Grad Ceremony will begin at 5:00 p.m. with an Indigenous movie playing at 6:00 p.m. Wrapping up the evening will be live music from 8-11 p.m. and fireworks shortly after.
