Clearwater County is hosting a new summer contest.

The contest is #Sasquatchselfies. The rules are to take a picture with yourself and the sasquatch. Officials say there will be more than one throughout the county, giving you the perfect opportunity to go out an explore everything Clearwater County has to offer.

After taking your picture with the sasquatch, you can email the photo to landcare@clearwatercounty.ca (include your name and phone number).

The deadline for this contest is August 26, 2022. County officials are hoping residents and tourists will enjoy the forests, foothills and mountains connected to the rivers, streams, and lakes of the West Country.

Officials are asking residents to enjoy all the scenery while also being respectful of the land.
