RCMP say two people are facing multiple charges following a search warrant executed as part of an assault investigation.
Police say officers searched a residence on 48 Street in Rocky Mountain House on March 19, 2026. During the search, RCMP seized more than five grams of suspected cocaine, more than eight grams of suspected methamphetamine, cash and other items consistent with drug trafficking, as well as counterfeit $100, $50 and $20 bills.
As a result, RCMP have charged 19-year-old Harlee Dawn Martens with assault with a weapon, two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of counterfeit currency.
She was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court April 15, 2026, in Rocky Mountain House.
A 39-year-old man, Mario Pierre-Cadotte, faces 22 charges, including multiple counts of assault, uttering threats, weapons offences and drug trafficking, along with fraud-related and counterfeit offences.
He was remanded in custody and was scheduled to appear in court March 25, 2026, in Rocky Mountain House.
