The Dealership with Deep Community Roots
Edwards Garage is going into their 92nd year of business, which on its own is an amazing feat! What started as a blacksmith shop in the 1920s soon grew to become a Chevrolet dealer on Main Street, Rocky Mountain House, and eventually came to be known as the business it is today. This 4th generation family run GM dealership is among the oldest in Canada.
You could say that it’s no surprise that Edwards Garage knows how to support the community – after all, they have nearly a century of experience! Edwards Garage has been a long-time supporter of the community because they recognize that the pulse of the community is what keeps them going.
This past year alone, they’ve sponsored the Rocky Rams Jr. B Hockey team, the exciting and long anticipated Lion’s Demolition Derby, and sponsored a chuckwagon at the Battle of the Rockies.
Along with their love of sports, they also look at supporting families and the town itself. Edwards Garage is a sponsor of the Rocky Spray Park, and contributed to the building costs of the Rocky Women’s Shelter.
And of course, being a dealership means having a vested interest in all things automobile! That’s why Edwards Garage has supported the Annual Camaro Cruise – with a donation to the Boys and Girls Club – and the Car Show BBQ, with a donation going to support Rocky Victims Services.
From helping those most in need, to supporting Rocky’s proud sports teams, Edwards Garage proves that Amplifying the community is like history in the making.
