The 2026 edition of the Rocky Jail ’n Bail raised $9,177 for the West Country Family Service Association.
While the total fell short of this year’s fundraising goal and last year’s total of about $10,000, organizers are calling the event a success.
“With economic difficulties and the cost of living rising, we are so grateful the community rallied despite the economic circumstances,” said WCFSA executive director Marina Kulich.
The event was held May 1 and 2 during the Rocky Chamber Trade Show. Kulich said participants enjoyed the fundraiser and organizers already have a full roster of volunteers lined up for next year.
Participants included Rocky Mountain House Mayor Shane Boniface, Clearwater County Reeve Jordon Northcott, Nancy Laperriere and Randall Sugden from Rocky Credit Union, and Moe from 94.5 Rewind Radio.

Kulich said the funds raised will help WCFSA continue offering programs including transportation to medical appointments, housekeeping services, Meals on Wheels and LifeLine.
The money will also support a program called “Connect and Complete,” which helps seniors with online applications such as government benefit forms.
Kulich added WCFSA is looking forward to bringing Jail ’n Bail back for a third year in 2027.
