A wildfire located 19 km west of Nordegg is now being classified as under control.
Alberta Wildfire says firefighters are working on extinguishing hotspots, as well as helicopters continuing to help with bucketing operations.
Officials say helicopters may be scooping water from Goldeye Lake and are asking residents to be aware and give them space to work.
Haven Road remains closed to the public to allow safe firefighting operations.
A fire advisory remains in effect for the Rocky Mountain House Forest area due to current and forecasted weather conditions. Officials say fine fuels and wooden debris are very dry and could ignite easily from any spark, friction or heat exhaust. Alberta wildfire is asking residents and tourists to use extreme caution when working or recreating outside.
At this time, there is no changes to existing fire permits but any new permits will be considered on a case by case basis.
The fire advisory will remain in place until conditions improve.
