A rainy forecast has prompted organizers to postpone the marquee event celebrating Cow Lake’s 40th anniversary.
The 200-drone musical light show, originally scheduled for June 27, has been rescheduled to July 4.
Smaller anniversary activities, including cake and family games, will still go ahead for campers on June 27.
Organizer Darrell Cinnamon said the drone show has generated overwhelming interest, with organizers expecting hundreds of people to attend.
The public is invited to the Cow Lake Campground at 7 p.m. on July 4. Limited seating will be available, but attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs for the show.
Cow Lake Campground is located about 15 minutes southwest of Rocky Mountain House off Highway 752.
