Clearwater County Reeve Jordon Northcott is facing an assault charge relating to an incident alleged to have taken place Jan. 5, 2025 at or near Rocky Mountain House.

The charges against Northcott, 46, were laid on Feb. 20, 2025.

Clearwater County addressed the charge in a statement provided to 94.5 Rewind Radio.

“Due to the personal nature of this matter, Clearwater County will not be commenting on the Reeve’s personal affairs.”

94.5 Rewind Radio reached out to Northcott on Sept. 4 via phone and email, but no response has been received.

Northcott, who also serves as councillor for Ward 4, is expected to appear in Rocky Mountain House Court of Justice Aug. 4, 2027.

A publication ban on the matter was lifted Aug. 26, 2026 at Rocky Mountain House Court of Justice.
