Hot weather throughout the province over the weekend has brought new temperature records to Alberta.
Meteorologists with Environment and Climate Change Canada say the Sundre area unofficially reached a new record high temperature of 31.0 degrees Celsius on Sunday, Sept. 11, beating the old record of 29.1 degrees Celsius, set back in 2017.
Records in this area have been kept since 1993.
