The Rocky Alliance Church is inviting the entire community to a special Harvest Party celebration Saturday, Oct. 3.

The event will include a petting zoo, barbecue food, cotton candy, inflatables, music, carnival games and more.

Rocky Alliance pastor Carson Maier says they want to bless the community with the free and fun event.

Church members really come together to put the event on, he says, with one family providing animals for the petting zoo, while others have connections for inflatables and axe throwing.

With the exception of a break during COVID-19, the Harvest Party has been a fall tradition at the church for a number of years.

As a father himself, Maier says he realizes the importance of putting on events like this and enjoys watching his own children join in on the fun.

The free event runs Saturday, Oct. 3, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the church parking lot.
