A trial date has been set for a Rocky Mountain House man facing multiple charges stemming from a March 2026 arrest and subsequent investigation.
Mario Pierre-Cadotte, 39, faces 22 charges, including multiple counts of assault, uttering threats, weapons offences and drug trafficking, as well as fraud-related and counterfeit currency offences.
He is scheduled to stand trial in Rocky Mountain House Court of Justice on June 29, 2027.
RCMP say officers searched a residence on 48 Street in Rocky Mountain House on March 19, 2026. During the search, police seized more than five grams of suspected cocaine, more than eight grams of suspected methamphetamine, cash and other items consistent with drug trafficking. Officers also found counterfeit $100, $50 and $20 bills.
As part of the same investigation, RCMP charged 19-year-old Harlee Dawn Martens with assault with a weapon, two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of counterfeit currency.
However, all charges against Martens were withdrawn following a court appearance on April 29, 2026.
