The Nordegg and Sundre areas have both beaten temperature records for the third consecutive day.
Meteorologists with Environment and Climate Change Canada say the Nordegg area unofficially broke a temperature record set in 1974 of 21.7 degrees Celsius, with the new record now being 24.0 degrees Celsius. Records in this area have been kept since 1915.
The Sundre area also set a new record of 23.8 degrees Celsius, beating the old record of 21.4 degrees Celsius set in 1999. Records in the Sundre area have been kept since 1993.
