Clearwater County is developing an Area Structure Plan (ASP) and wants to hear from local residents.

Clearwater County is developing an ASP for both the hamlets of Leslieville and Condor. Officials say the plans are to provide direction on sustainable development of the hamlets and the surrounding lands which reflect the needs of the communities.

Officials note, in doing so, it will support and direct growth and change that will be capable of meeting the residential, commercial, industrial, service and community needs of the area’s residents. Public consultation with residents of the hamlets and surrounding lands is said to be key to the success of the project.

Invistec Consulting Ltd. has been selected by Clearwater County to develop ASPs for the hamlets of Leslieville and Condor.

The County is hosting two kick off events, one for each hamlet. The County says the goal of these events is to get feedback from the community on what they envision for their community in the future prior to the development of the ASP documents.
