Clearwater County is now accepting nominations for the Environmental Stewardship Award.
Officials note, this award formally and publicly recognizes community members that demonstrate commitment to environmental stewardship and betterment of the local environment.
Officials say this program was initiated by the Clearwater Landcare Board to recognize contributions made by families, individual landowners, or community members.
Any member of the public can submit a nomination for this award. Nomination eligibility includes the following:
• Nominees must practice environmental stewardship and have resided within Clearwater County for a minimum of 5 years;
• Can only be a recipient of the award once; and,
• Maximum of one award recipient per year, provided a qualified nominee is identified.
