Alberta RCMP App – The AB RCMP mobile app is now available as a free download through the Apple App and Google Play Stores. The app does not track or monitor users in any way. It provides easy access to Online Crime Reporting, Crime Mapping, Detachment information, Project Lock Up, Crime Stoppers, as well as RCMP news and social media accounts.

December 2
2022-12-02 @ 2:10 p.m. – Complaint of bank fraud as a RMH resident advised money was taken out of a personal account and then an online fraudster threatened to disseminate information unless further money was received.
December 3
2022-12-03 @ 2:27 a.m. – Complaint of an assault on the Sunchild FN Reserve. The victim was taken to the hospital by EMS. The matter is under investigation.
2022-12-03 @ 7:16 a.m. – Theft of a white 2006 Ford Super Duty taken from a residence in RMH overnight.
2022-12-03 @ 6:59 p.m. – Report of gas stolen from vehicles overnight while parked at an apartment complex in RMH.
December 4
2022-12-04 @ 11:32 a.m. – Call of a possible impaired driver on Hwy #11 in RMH. Police located the vehicle and conducted a Mandatory Alcohol Screening test with the driver who blew a “Caution.” The adult male driver was a suspended driver and had an outstanding arrest warrant. He was issued Provincial Sanctions which include a $300 fine and 30 day vehicle seizure on top of a violation ticket.
2022-12-04 @ 12:46 p.m. – Theft of a 2014 Fusion holiday camper reported stolen from a hunting camp in Clearwater County.
December 6
2022-12-06 @ 1:33 a.m. – Police located a vehicle in the ditch on Hwy #11 in RMH after a complaint of an erratic driver. The adult male driver from the Edson area was trying to drive through a snowbank. He blew a “Fail” on the Alcohol Screening Device while a Mandatory Alcohol Screening test was conducted. Provincial sanctions were issued.
2022-12-06 @ 11:18 a.m. – Complaint of a Break & Enter into a RMH apartment building overnight. Culprit(s) stolen key cutters, carpet cleaners, vacuum, drill, and a security system.
December 8
2022-12-08 @ 4:05 p.m. – 911 call of a B&E to oil lease site in the Stauffer area. The chain link fence was cut and 1,000 meters of copper wire missing, valued at $1 million.
