Rocky Mountain House has a fun packed Family Day weekend full of events for all ages.

Friday

Kicking off the Family Day long weekend on Friday evening is the Royal Canadian Legion hosting Karaoke from 8:00 p.m. until 12:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome to come and check out the biggest dance floor in town. Wings and things will start at the Legion at 5:00 p.m. and run until 9:00 p.m.

Saturday

On Saturday the Rocky Kinsmen and West County Kinettes are hosting a free family movie marathon all day at Rocky Cinemas as part of Kin Kindness Day. The movies and show times are:

• Lion King – 9:00 a.m.

• The Croods – 11:00 a.m.

• UP – 1:00 p.m.

• Inside Out – 3:00 p.m.

• E.T. – 5:00 p.m.

• The Sandlot – 7:00 p.m.

• Stand By Me – 9:00 p.m.

Also on Saturday residents can head down to Pioneer Ranch in Crimson Lake Provincial Park to watch the Polar Bear Dips “Freezing for a Reason”. The event starts at 1:00 p.m.

Monday

The Credit Union Co-op Aquatic Centre is hosting a free Family Day swim sponsored by Rocky Mountain Dodge. It runs from 1:00-4:00 p.m.
