Environment and Climate Change Canada has released data on notable snowfall amounts seen throughout many parts of Alberta this week, including the Rocky Mountain House area.
Officials say heavy snowfall impacted much of southern and western Alberta beginning Monday evening and continuing into Tuesday.
The Sundre area received the most with 10cm, then the Nordegg area with 9cm, and lastly Rocky Mountain House with 8cm.
Other notable areas include:
• Beaver Mines – 21cm
• Medicine Hat Airport – 19cm
• Pekisko – 16cm
• Lethbridge – 16cm
• Calgary International Airport – 13cm
• Stavely – 11cm
• Banff – 10cm
• Pincher Creek – 9cm
• Waterton Park Gate – 8cm
• Jasper – 6cm
