A snowfall warning has been issued for the Nordegg area.
Meteorologists with Environment Canada say, snowfall with total amounts of 10 to 20 cm is expected.
Officials add, due to changing snow levels throughout the day, the greatest snowfall totals will be over higher elevations.
However, snowfall is expected to taper off tonight. Meteorologists add, visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow.
Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
