The Town of Rocky Mountain House is reminding residents of some new RCMP office hours.

Officials say, starting May 1, 2023, the Rocky Detachment is reducing its hours from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., to the new hours of 9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Mayor Debbie Baich said, the RCMP Detachment public hours were shortened due to a shortage of clerks; and as soon as the hiring process is completed, the hours will be extended back to the previous public hours.
