A high streamflow advisory has ended for the North Saskatchewan River, according to rivers.alberta.ca.
The advisory, which came into effect on June 21, 2023, was in place for the North Saskatchewan River, from Rocky Mountain House to the Saskatchewan border.
It was lifted at 2 p.m on July 4.
According to rivers.alberta.ca, water levels continue to remain high, partly due to the controlled release from the Brazeau and Bighorn reservoirs.
Meanwhile, the following high streamflow advisories have also ended:
- Smoky River basin upstream of Grande Cache
- Pembina River from Hwy 764 to the confluence with Athabasca River
- Brazeau River Basin
- Paddle River Basin downstream of the Reservoir to the Town of Barrhead
- Peace River from Fort Vermilion to Peace Point
