Clearwater County has created a new site to help locate rural addresses.

County officials describe it as an online mapping tool created for Clearwater County addresses, which will assist in providing accurate directions for delivery-based business and the general public.

Officials add, most people will use Google Maps to search for a location. However, they say Google and Apple Maps don’t have the complete database or rural properties in Clearwater County, resulting in directions that are incorrect.

Now, Clearwater County has developed a tool that will help provide the public with the accurate directions they need.

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Agree to the disclaimer dialogue pop-up box that appears on the map.
2. Enter the rural address in the top right corner of the map, then select the address that appears in the drop-down menu.
3. Click the house icon on the map that will be zoomed into the rural address you entered.
4. Click “Google Map Directions”
