With Halloween just around the corner, here are some local events happening throughout the community.

On Oct. 28, and Oct. 31, Eckville is hosting a Halloween haunted house. The haunted house runs from 5:30-9:00 p.m. at 5604 53 Street (Ekville).

The haunted house is free admission, however, Fostering Hope Animal Rescue and Eckville Food Bank are taking donations at the door.

Meanwhile, the West Country Kinettes are hosting Games and Ghouls. Games and Ghouls will be held on Oct 31, at the Lou Soppit Community Centre from 3:00-6:00 p.m. There is no cost of admission. However, the Kinettes are asking for donations for Rocky’s local food bank.

Another event happening this weekend is being hosted at the Rocky Mountain House Legion. The Halloween party is taking place from 8:00 p.m. until 12:00 a.m., kids are welcomed from 3:30 – 5:30 p.m. There will be live music by Mickey Dietz as well as costume prizes for couples and singles.
